Abstract : This study was conducted in a field experiment for three years (2002-2004) in Hada Al-Sham Research Experiment Station to study the effects of irrigation methods on yield and quality of date palm Rabeeha cv. Randomized Complete Block Design with four replicates was used in this study in each season. Three irrigation methods were used: surface, bubbler and drip on homogenous 14 years old date palm trees. The obtained results showed no significant differences between the three irrigation methods concerning date yield/tree, flush percent, moisture percent, TSS and acidity of date fruit in the three seasons. Significant differences were detected between the three irrigation methods for fruit length, width, volume and weight. The highest yield and physical fruit mean values were obtained from the surface irrigation method.
